Andy,

Could you let us know what you are planning for the other manufacturers of SatNav devices?

Regards,

Simon

Myself and Paul will be looking in depth at other devices.
Our first priority is to get all the features into TomTology we would like. After that we will look to see whether there is a demand for training.

In the UK there is a large selection of different manufacturers out there. The task will be to decide which are the most popular after TomToms and which currently don't have any software out there that can be used to examine them.

Paul has already started looking at other devices to see what can be extracted.

TomTom's data is stored in two different places on the device (i.e. Maps folder and the root of the device)
Garmin's data is stored in a single file

Bumobiles,

Tell the community what the files are and if there are any tools to assist the investigator/analyst in examining them would you?

Thanks for your input though...

Regards,

Simon

Default TomTology Sample Report

For those interested, I used TomTology on my own SatNav. The result, (anonymised), is here:

I look forward to your comments.

Regards,

Simon
